NO TIME TO DIE

Monica Naidoo Timmy Greyvenstein At 6 o'clock on 7 April 2002 Monica Naidoo was on her way to pray for a pastor in Chatsworth, Durban. As she approached the driveway, four men asked her to reverse her car. Then she heard a gunshot. A bullet went through her right arm, her right rib and fractured two ribs. Two other bullets went through her abdomen and chest, lungs, liver and gall bladder which later had to be removed. Yet another bullet went in through the left thigh and out again. Miraculously no bones were broken! All the bullets "entered and exited" as the doctor termed it. She heard only one shot, but in fact four bullets hit her body! Her right arm touched the hooter and two of the assailants fled. Meanwhile the lady in the passenger seat managed to escape unscathed. The other two men at the passenger side of the car asked her for her car keys. She replied that the keys were still in the ignition. “Just take everything!" she cried. But they did not touch her cell phone or handbag with money or the jewelry she was wearing. She screamed: "Jesus, where are You?" She then saw Jesus in the passenger seat grabbing her by her left wrist and pulling her out of the car. She then ran up a steep slope feeling no pain, aware only of the Lord Jesus Christ in white being with her. Neighbours came and rushed her to hospital. She had already lost several pints of blood. Her life was ebbing away. The doctors told her there was no hope but she was telling herself that it was not the time to die. She still had her son Vernon to care for. While being operated on for approximately 10 hours, she saw the Lord Jesus in a vision - standing by her bedside. He gestured her to come with Him and took her to heaven and told her to blow the 9 shofars which He kept there. "Blow all 9 now," He said. "I can't," she replied. He exclaimed, "You can!" She picked them up and blew them all, feeling no pain. In awe she said, "Jesus!" Then she was back in her body in the ICU! Monica knew her surviving this ordeal would be entirely for God's glory! She was also given 1 Cor. 15:42-44 and meditated on these verses believing that the sound of the trumpet would raise her from the dead. A couple of months later she went to a Conference where the pastor preached on: "Death, where is your sting?" It was exactly what she had experienced: "The body is going to the grave, but the Holy Spirit is bringing us to life!" "The appointment with death has now been cancelled," God told her. The doctors told her that most of her liver was gone, that there was no hope for her and that it would be a miracle if she lived for another year. But God said that she would live for many years to come and that her bones, lungs, ribs and abdomen would be healed completely. After 1 month she was already dancing before the Lord to His glory! At the aforementioned Con-ference a Pastor Lieson from the USA waved at her to come forward and blow the shofar - just as Jesus had summoned her to do in the hospital. What a wonderful God we serve! It is more than a year later and Monica has also been in Johannesburg to attend the Handmaidens Conference. She is healthy and happily serving her Lord, Jesus Christ!
